A tablet, jewelry, check card and more than $800 in cash were stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Deaver Street during a break-in Wednesday night.
Police were called at 10:48 p.m. Wednesday for a reported burglary and determined that an unknown person broke into the home through a window.
Perfume Leads to Warrant Arrest
While investigating a potential shoplifting complaint at CVS Pharmacy on Wednesday, police took a Havre de Grace woman into custody for an unrelated offense.
Officers were called to CVS Pharmacy in the 1000 block of Pulaski Highway at 2:14 p.m. for a report of shoplifting involving perfume. No charges were filed, as police determined that no theft had occurred.
However, officers found that one of the two females suspected of shoplifting was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear. Police arrested the woman, who was a 30-year-old from the 500 block of Franklin Street.
Stolen: GPS, 100-Pound Propane Tank, Debit Card
In the 1000 block of Ontario Street, two thefts were reported Wednesday. A GPS was reported stolen from a vehicle at 12:03 p.m. A 100-pound propane tank was reported stolen at 11:38 a.m., resulting in a $200 loss. Police said that the incidents were believed to be unrelated.
A debit card was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Remington Circle at 6:58 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
