Havre de Grace Crime: Woman Punched On Promenade

South Washington Street, 100 block, 11:02 p.m. on Aug. 26. A resident reported seeing three males tampering with a vehicle in the area of Lodge Lane. Police responded, but the suspects had left the area. No items were reported stolen, but there were signs that someone had gone through the vehicle.

Lafeyette Street, 800 block, 1:10 p.m. on Aug. 26. A vehicle was left abandoned after initially being reported stolen. The victim let an acquaintance—known to the victim only by a first name—to borrow his  vehicle. As police responded to the report of the stolen vehicle, the vehicle was returned to a side street where it was abandoned with the engine running near Adams and Lafayette streets. The incident remains under investigation.

North Union Avenue, 500 block, 9:51 a.m. on Aug. 26. Teynel Delores Jones, 20, of the 800 block of Conesteo St. in Havre de Grace, was arrested and charged with assault. Jones allegedly struck a former co-worker in the face during an altercation at 7 Eleven.

Native Dancer Drive, 300 block, 10:33 a.m. on Aug. 24. Approximately 50 CDs and $60 in cash were reported stolen from a vehicle, which was left unlocked. Police have no suspects and the investigation is ongoing.

Water Street, 600 block, 12:54 a.m. on Aug. 24. Jimmy Lynn Roberts, 54, of the 400 block of South Juniata St., and Allen Dean Gullion, 50, of the 200 block of Camp Meeting Ground Road in Port Deposit, were arrested and charged with possession of of a controlled dangerous substance other than marijuana. Police initially observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed toward the Susquehanna River in a vacant lot near . Officers said they approached the vehicle and the two men who were allegedly smoking suspected narcotics.

Commerce Street, 300 block, 11:27 p.m. on Aug. 23. A woman was assaulted while walking on the Promenade. The victim apparently yelled to a friend, but a group passing her misunderstood her statement and one individual punched her twice in the face. The suspects are unknown and the incident remains under investigation.

Pulaski Highway, 900 block, 9 p.m. on Aug. 23. Guy Dean McGee, 44, of the 100 block of Willow Drive in Elkton, was arrested and charged with trespassing. McGee complied earlier in the day when asked to leave the grounds at the Best Budget Inn, but he returned later in the day and refused to leave before being arrested, police said.

North Juniata Street, 800 block, 1:36 p.m. on Aug. 23. An air conditioning unit was pushed into a window of a residence and the front door was shattered by an acquaintance of the victim. The victim said the incident stemmed from a previous incident. The victim was referred to the Harford County Court Commissioner’s Office.
