Guess you just can't have nice things among ugly people. Really? Racist slurs? Juvenile and pathetic to say the least.

Need cameras up at the promenade now if we don't already have them

The Promenade and Tydings Park have long served as the unifying factor for so many demographics. To read about this vandalism is heart breaking. I hope the culprits are found and sentences to clean cobwebs, trash cans, scrub benches, light fixtures, etc. Tasks now handled by many volunteers who appreciate these amenities. Any community service not served in correcting damages done is far less effective and fines also need to be paid. Some people are unable to make the connection between the costs of crime and the time invested to make corrections. It has to be reinforced by the courts in sentencing and if someone doesn't complete the assigned tasks then the punishment must be increased with incarceration penalties added.
