Havre de Grace Crime: Police Order a Car Wash

Pulaski Highway, 900 block, 11:26 a.m. on Oct. 8. BGE reported theft of wiring.

Wilson Street, 100 block, 9:36 a.m. on Oct. 8. Ramps were reported stolen from a trailer.

Pennington Avenue, 600 block, 6:46 a.m. on Oct. 8. A man said he woke up to find his back door was open and his wallet was missing from the kitchen table.

Lewis Street, 700 block, 12:24 a.m. on Oct. 7. An Aberdeen man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Chesapeake Drive, 1100 block, 7:41 a.m. on Oct. 7. A man reported that his car was covered in a white powdery substance. Upon investigation, police found a fire extinguisher next to the man's 2011 Mazda Miata that had been taken from the lobby of the victim’s apartment building. Police recommended the man take his vehicle to a car wash. 

Pulaski Highway, 900 block, 12:28 p.m. on Oct. 7. A wallet was reported stolen from someone at the Weis market.

N. Union Avenue, 500 block, 11:18 a.m. on Oct. 6. A man was arrested leaving 7-Eleven. He was wanted on a warrant out of Adams County, PA. Details about the charges were not immediately available.

Revolution Street, 400 block, 11:14 a.m. on Oct. 5. A man was asked to leave an apartment and not to return. Approximately an hour later, he returned, caused a disturbance and officers issued a criminal citation for failure to obey a lawful order.

Hutchins Park, 8:39 a.m. on Oct. 5. A woman's body was found floating on the Susquehanna River. Her death is currently under investigation.

Anderson Avenue, 100 block, 2:03 p.m. on Oct. 4. LEDs that were around a pool were reported stolen.

Interstate 95 North, 1:43 p.m. on Oct. 4. Two men from New Jersey were arrested for possession of marijuana after K-9 police scanned the vehicle and discovered the presence of drugs. The stop was made during a traffic task force near mile marker 82 in Aberdeen.

Squaw Court, 300 block, 12:22 p.m. on Oct. 4. A ring and earrings that had been missing since Sept. 19 were reported stolen.

Otsego Street, 800 block, 11:58 a.m. on Oct. 4. A fire pit was reported stolen.

Otsego Street, 700 block, 8:40 a.m. on Oct. 4. Vandalism to a vehicle was reported.
