Harford County Sheriff's Office deputies said they are investigating a robbery that took place at Jacki's Intimate Boutique, an adult shop, in Havre de Grace Friday night.
Deputies responded to the shop in the 1600 block of Pulaski Highway at about 8:50 p.m. March 22 for a report of an armed robbery, according to a statement from the Sheriff's Office.
When they arrived, a store clerk told deputies that a white man approached the clerk, displayed a handgun and demanded money, officials said.
The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of money from the store's cash register and the robber fled the scene, running west on the eastbound shoulder of Pulaski Highway (Rt. 40), according to the statement.
There were several customers in the store, but they were not approached by the robber and there were no reported injuries, sheriff officials said.
Witnesses said they saw a dark-colored two-door Toyota Corolla or Nissan Sentra drive east toward the Hatem Bridge with its lights off immediately after the robbery, according to a statement. The vehicle was parked a short distance away from and in the same direction the suspect fled after robbing the store, according to the statement.
The suspect is described as a white man, 20 to 25 years old and weighing about 170 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, light colored jeans and had a black bandanna covering the lower portion of his face, officials said.
Deputies said they are investigating the possibility that this suspect may be the same man involved in two robberies in Bel Air earlier in the week.
The Subway restaurant in Greenbrier Hills Shopping Center on Churchville Road was robbed on the evening of March 20 and the Royal Farms store at Rt. 543 and Churchville Road was robbed at about 4 a.m. March 21.
