Three people were reportedly injured in a building fire in the 500 block of Franklin Street in Havre de Grace Friday night.

Two firefighters from the Susquehanna Hose Company were hospitalized after battling the blaze, which started in a tax preparation business located on the entry level of an apartment complex, The Aegis reported.

The blaze was reported just after 7 p.m.

WBAL TV said first responders found a woman with self-inflicted stab wounds, which was unrelated to the fire.

"Fast-moving" flames roared through the building and "heavy smoke was seen billowing" outside, according to WJZ.

The fire was placed under control by 8 p.m., according to ABC 2 News.

Both injured firefighters were taken to Harford Memorial Hospital, where they were expected to survive, according to The Aegiswhich reported one was electrocuted and another fell.

The woman was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment, the Havre de Grace Police Department reported, where her condition was not known.

The fire marshal was reportedly at the scene investigating the cause.

The woman was NOT inside the fire building. WBAL's report states the stabbing was not related to the fire.

I hope the lady with the stab wounds is ok, but I could help but laugh at the absurdity of that randomness.

I just DON'T understand why news feels the need to get info out so quickly and not even make sure facts are correct. If you would have watched last night before posting or maybe talk to the right people you would have known the truth. Smh
