Someone broke into the Concord Point Lighthouse recently, the Havre de Grace Police Department reported.

At 9:36 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 100 block of Lafayette Street after the break-in was reported and found a window had been shattered, police said. The window was six feet off the ground, according to the report.

The suspect(s) went inside the structure and climbed the staircase to the top of the lighthouse, police said.

Nothing was taken from the lighthouse, and the damage estimate is not yet available, according to police.

unless a person did this to be out of the cold, put them on town clean up duty or something similiar.

I take that kind of deviancy personally!!! As a long time resident, taxpayer and witness to the development and improvement to that landmark, these actions are unacceptable. If the person or persons are caught, they should have to prepare a 20 page essay on the history of Havre de Grace!!!
