Havre de Grace Crime: Bourbon Street Sparring Match Leads to Arrest

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information.

Bourbon St., 600 block. 9:59 p.m. on Dec. 26. Police found two men engaged in a sparring match after a neighbor reported disorderly conduct. The men, who were facing each other with their fists up when police arrived, said that they were joking around and not seriously fighting. After running wanted checks, police found that one of the men was wanted by Maryland State Police for failure to appear. Police took the man, who is 32 years old and homeless, to the Harford County Detention Center.

Adams St., 300 block. 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 26. Police received a report of package theft from a residence. The resident said that UPS made the delivery but it was not received. Upon further investigation, police discovered that UPS took the package to the post office for safe keeping since no one was home at the time of delivery. Police determined that no theft had occurred.

Erie St., 800 block. 5 p.m. on Dec. 25. Someone reported a burglary and when police arrived they saw a person in the backyard looking at tires and rims. Police said the person, who was familiar with the complainant, was asked to leave, and no burglary occurred.

Lol..the two guys duking it out! Glad to see old school fighting was being used...at least they couldn't hurt any innocent people! Gotta find a positive in everything now a days..lol
