Havre de Grace American Legion Historian Passes Away

The legion is hosting a celebration of Warner Taylor's life this week.

Warner Taylor of Havre de Grace passed away on April 25. He was 84.

He was the historian for the Joseph L. Davis American Legion Post #47, where he will be greatly missed. "Warner was our comrade, Korean veteran, Post 47 historian and a great friend; the father of Rob, Eric and Karen," according to the legion.

A memorial service will be held at Joseph L. Davis American Legion Post #47. There will not be a funeral. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Warner Taylor's life at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, at 501 Saint John Street in Havre de Grace.
