Pastor Patricia Pringle Passed Away at 71

A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 2.

Patricia Ann Pringle, a spiritual teacher in Havre de Grace for more than 40 years, passed away Jan. 25. She was 71 years old.

Pringle came to Havre de Grace in 1971 and founded the Evangelistic Church of Deliverance (325 Saint John St.), according to her obituary.

The church was "a ministry of the heart," Pringle told The Aegis in 2011.

It was Pringle's idea for the church to provide Thanksgiving dinner for Aberdeen's hungry, a tradition that has been going on for approximately 20 years, The Aegis reported.

Visitation for Pastor Patricia Pringle will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 2, at Bethel Apostolic Church (21 N. Earlton Road). The funeral service will be at noon. Burial will take place in Chestertown at 11 a.m. Monday.

This woman provided great teachings from the Bible. I've had the privilage of being a member in her church since the age of 23. She will greatly be missed. 14 years later, I'm still a member and my heart breaks with the news that we will bury her tomorrow. But we were prepared; however, our hearts are still heavy. She's with God smiling down on us. Pastor Patricia Pringle would give her last to help a needy soul. I love you and my heart breaks due to the fact that I won't hear your warm voice but I know you are with God watching me. I love you with all my heart.
