All it takes is a drive down Washington Street to know that the Christmas season is alive and well in Havre de Grace.
Volunteers installed Santa's workshop and placed decorations on light posts in the city's historic downtown district over Thanksgiving weekend in anticipation of a busy holiday season.
The season kicks off with the final First Friday of the year, complete with a parade and tree lighting at 6 p.m. Friday. The tree will be located at Rochambeau Plaza, at the intersection of St. John and Washington streets.
