The monthly meeting has been cancelled "out of respect for the Boniface family," according to community leader Jane Howe.
The group meets monthly on the third Wednesday of the month at the visitor center.
Howe said the group was expecting a larger-than-usual crowd, with County Executive David Craig as the scheduled speaker.
