Hazardous Waste Collection in Harford County

Citizens with proof of Harford County residency can drop off their household hazardous materials Saturday through an event coordinated in part by the Harford County Office of Recycling.


Acceptable materials include things like cleaning products, pool chemicals, oil-based paint, aerosol cans, batteries, pesticides and mercury thermometers. Industrial, business or commercial farm waste will not be collected. For more information about acceptable materials, call the Harford County Office of Recycling at 410-638-3417. 


The collection will be at the Harford Waste Disposal Center Mulch & Compost Facility (3135 Scarboro Rd.) in Street, MD.
