After Joe Flacco signed a contract making him the highest paid player in the NFL, he drove through the Aberdeen McDonald's for some McNuggets.
After signing on with ESPN as an NFL analyst this week, Ray Lewis will also make waves in Harford County.
GMF Sports, which opened earlier this month, is inviting people to drop off their items at the store on North Washington Street for Lewis to autograph them.
The signing is private and drop-off only, meaning nobody will meet Lewis in person, GMF Sports explained on Facebook. The store will take the items to Lewis, who will not be visiting the store itself.
People can have one item signed. Prices, established by Lewis and his agent, are as follows:
- Photos, mini helmets: $160
- Photos larger than 16 by 20", jerseys, regular helmets, footballs, canvas: $175
- Inscription (Super Bowl XLVII champs, etc.): $50
- JSA certification of authenticity: $5
Visit GMF Sports on Facebook for more on the event.
This article was updated at 10 a.m. Thursday to indicate that the event is drop-off only and Ray Lewis will not be at the physical GMF Sports store.
I have seen on T.V. where Ray Lewis and others have given their time and money to help those in need. Something I believe we all should be doing to help others that can not afford the things they need.
