Hold onto your Santa hat Saturday—it's going to be blustery, especially near the water.
The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a wind advisory through 5 p.m. Saturday for Harford County and most of Maryland.
Winds will be strongest between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and may gust up to 50 mph, the NWS said in its report. Forecasters anticipate downed power lines and trees and cautioned that wind may make driving difficult.
A gale warning is in effect for Havre de Grace and other areas along the water.
Havre de Grace may also experience unusually high tides, according to the report.
