Those waiting for their chance to try the new hibachi restaurant on US Route 40 will have to wait a bit longer.

The target opening date is before Valentine's Day, the restaurant managers posted on Facebook.

"...we want to bring...the best that we can offer; therefore, we don't want to rush things," according to the post.

The restaurant plans to open in early February after the next round of inspections.

"It shouldn't be long now," management said on Jan. 14.

CONGRATULATIONS to Lin's Hibachi. The quality of their presentation is exceptional. It has been fun peeking thru the windows and watching the the design progress. This will be a hi-class dining experience in HdG. The management team has been proud to share their plans and progress with me.

Excited to see it open, but Harford County does seem to require a whole lot of inspections!

I'll take a safe, clean well inspected restaurant over the alternative anyday. Especially one that will be serving raw seafood ;) I can't wait for Lin's to open.
