Five HdG Churches Host Holiday Tour

The Sunday afternoon tour includes sacred spaces from the 19th and 20th centuries in Havre de Grace.

Always wanted to know what the inside of one of Havre de Grace's oldest churches looks like?

Sunday is your day to find out and no, it's not during a service.

The Susquehanna Ministerium has made it a tradition to invite the public to check out local churches decorated for the holidays the Sunday between Christmas and the New Year. This marks the fourteenth year of the event, according to Maryland Tourism.

The following five churches are participating:

  • Havre de Grace United Methodist Church
  • St. John's Episcopal Church
  • First Baptist Church
  • St. James AME Church
  • St. Patrick Church

The church tour is from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30. It begins at Havre de Grace United Methodist Church (101 S. Union Ave.) in Havre de Grace.
