First Friday Celebration

Where: Downtown Havre de Grace
Why Go: Take a scavenger hunt through local businesses, earning the chance to win prizes along the way. Flicker Scents, Simply Art and Pizzazz are running specials for the event.

Historic Guided Walking Tour
When: 6–7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2
Where: Jana's Java (217 N. Washington St.); tickets are $12 each.
Why Go: Havre de Grace Main Street organizes the tour, which focuses on the history and architecture of Havre de Grace.

Motorcycle Pumpkin Poker Run
When: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3
Where: American Legion Post 47 (501 Saint John St.)
Why Go: Ride through Baltimore and Harford counties on your motorcycle in this fundraiser benefiting veterans.

Mob the Merchant: Wonder Toys
When: 10 a.m.–8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3
Where: Wonder Toys (311 Saint John St.)
Why Go: Get discounts on education-enhancing toys while shopping local.

Fun Fest
When: 3–5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4
Where: Tydings Memorial Park (Commerce at S. Washington St.)
Why Go: Moon bounce and face paintings, among other fun activities for children, will be available for free, courtesy of the Good Cause organization.

Halloween Parade
When: 6–8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4
Where: Congress Avenue at Washington Street
Why Go: The event, a nearly 30-year tradition, was rescheduled by popular demand after Hurricane Sandy rained on the parade earlier this week.
