DESCRIPTION:Lecture given by: Frank Lopez\n&nbsp\;\nHave you ever seen a 
 beautiful tree and wondered what it is\, only to get too busy to look it
  up or not even know where to start? Then\, this program is for you.&nbs
 p\; We will take this class at a nice\, relaxed pace.&nbsp\; First\, we 
 will go over the basics of how to identify trees using a simple key. The
 n\, off we will go for a leisurely walk outside and put our new skills t
 o work\, and as a group identify some of these stately treasures.&nbsp\;
  Along the way\, we will talk about tree lore and discuss why trees are 
 so important to water quality.&nbsp\; From the far reaches of the thousa
 nds of headwaters to the most productive estuary in the United States\, 
 the Chesapeake Bay\, trees play an important role.&nbsp\; Once we return
  to the museum\, we will wrap up. As a bonus\, you get to keep your tree
  ID booklet.&nbsp\; Now\, you can hone your skills in your very own back
  yard\, or where ever you go.\nFrank Lopez has been living and working a
 s a forester in Harford County for MD DNR Forest Service for nearly 25 y
 ears.&nbsp\; He has aa B.S.- Forest Science degree from the Pennsylvania
  State University\, and a Masters of Public Administration- University o
 f Baltimore.&nbsp\; His&nbsp\;other creditials include Forest Warden\, I
 SA Licensed Arborist\, Certified Tree Care Expert\, National Association
  for Interpretation Certified Interpretive Guide\, MDA Certified Pestici
 de Applicator.
