Focusing on Lenses Class

So, you bought that new DSLR Camera with the kit lens, and now you want to expand your photographic horizons by purchasing new lenses. There’s a plethora of lenses on the market, and you’re confused with which way to go. Sounds familiar? Then this is the class for you! Leo Heppner will discuss the multitude of options regarding lenses for your DSLR. From fisheye and wide-angle, to macro and telephoto, Leo will discuss the features and benefits of each lens category. A survey of the different types of lenses, accessories and brands will be discussed. In addition, there will be a special segment with Lensbaby, the selective focus SLR lens that’s popular right now. There will also be a discussion on composition and helpful hints on capturing your best image.
Participants should bring their camera and gadget bag to class. If weather permits, we may shoot outside in the downtown Havre de Grace Business district, utilizing some of the lenses and techniques learned in class.

More About La Cucina Restaurant
Italian for "The Kitchen," La Cucina is a laid back, counter service Italian restaurant serving pizza, subs, pastas and salads. The restaurant has special lunch prices Monday through Friday, 11am to 3:30pm. It also makes party platters and serves beer, wine and liquor. On nice days, two small tables are set up on the sidewalk out front.
