Open to the public for all age groups and fitness levels, the 5K run and 1-mile walk will raise money for the Susquehanna Hose Company, which is responsible for the fire protection services for the City of Havre De Grace.

A costumed turkey will greet participants and cheer them on at the finish line.  Prizes will be awarded to 5K winners in various age categories. The youngest and the oldest participants also will receive an award.  What’s more, all participants can enjoy goodie bags, refreshments and prizes, and the first 300 registrants will receive long sleeve t-shirts.

The first five Bulle Rock Turkey Trots raised over $58,000, which was used to purchase new emergency equipment for The City of Havre de Grace and the Susquehanna Hose Company, including Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), carbon monoxide detectors for those who can’t afford them, hydraulic rams, rescue and escape units, as well as cash proceeds.
