Kareen Abdul-Raheem Brown, with addresses in Edgewood and North East, was handed the 20-year sentence by Cecil County Circuit Court Judge O. Robert Lidums, who suspended 10 years of it. Brown was charged with the death of his 1-year-old child, Kalea Brown, after Cecil County police received a report on June 8, 2009 of an unconscious baby.
