When Is the Second Presidential Debate?

The second presidential debate between President Obama and Mitt Romney is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET Tuesday, Oct. 16.

 

 

After Vice President Joe Biden and Rep. Paul Ryan sparred in the vice presidential debate last week, the nation's attention turns toward Barack Obama and Mitt Romney's second debate—a town hall forum focusing on foreign and domestic policy.

The second presidential debate between Obama and Romney is set for 9 p.m. Eastern Time Tuesday, Oct. 16. Check below for more information on that and the final face-off Oct. 22 as voters decide their choice in the Nov. 6 presidential election.

Sponsor: Commission on Presidential Debates
Participants: President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney
Moderator: Candy Crowley (CNN Chief Political Correspondent)

According to the CPD, "The second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which citizens will ask questions of the candidates on foreign and domestic issues. Candidates each will have two minutes to respond, and an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate a discussion. The town meeting participants will be undecided voters selected by the Gallup Organization."

It is all about the debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. It is their second debate focusing on foreign and domestic policy. Many channels broadcasted this event on air.
