Voting Absentee in the 2012 General Election

Deadlines for Marylanders voting absentee in the Nov. 6 election are approaching.

 

Planning a trip that overlaps with Election Day? 

Those who will be voting absentee in the Nov. 6 election have until the end of the month to request an application.

Registered voters must apply to vote absentee by Oct. 30.

  • Call Harford County's Board of Elections office at 410-638-3565 if you are planning to vote absentee.
  • Fill out the absentee application form online from the Maryland Board of Elections or in person at the Harford County Board of Elections office (133 Industry Ln.) in Forest Hill.
  • Applications must be received by 8 p.m. on Oct. 30 if mailed/hand-delivered and 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 30 if faxed/emailed.

Once voters receive their absentee ballots, the Harford County Board of Elections will accept them through Nov. 16.
