We're on the brink of spring here in Havre de Grace with the Vernal Equinox—the official start to spring—less than a week away.

But let's face it, just last week there was potential for a major snow storm. The weather is often unpredictable this time of year, but try telling that to some of the gardens in the city.

While walking down St. John's Street I spotted these pretty little Irises surfacing past dead, brown leaves.
