UPDATE: Wednesday Afternoon/Evening Forecast for Havre de Grace

The latest reports from the National Weather Service are here.

A mixture of snow and rain may fall in Havre de Grace from the afternoon into the evening, tapering off around midnight, the National Weather Service reports.

The latest National Weather Service forecast for Havre de Grace is here.

If there is snow, Director of Public Works Larry Parks asked city residents not to shovel it into the road if it has been plowed.

Snow was projected to be heavy at times, so officials asked citizens to limit travel.

“The best advice is not to travel today," Melinda B. Peters of the State Highway Administration stated Wednesday. "The snow is predicted to be heavy and wet, which can cause tree limbs to break onto roads and power lines. Combined with heavy gusts of wind, there could be power disruptions that cause traffic signals to be dark. Remember the new law: treat intersections without power as four-way stops.”
