Video Makes the Warriors Stars

Havre de Grace highlights featured on FOX, WBAL and Patch

There is no need for the Dunbar coaching staff to go seeking extra film on Havre de Grace.

The Warriors are everywhere.

Two Baltimore network television affiliates sent cameras to James R. Harris Stadium for the Warriors Class 1A state semifinal win against Brunswick. There are bound to be more at M&T Bank Stadium when the Warriors meet Dunbar for the state championship.

FOX 45 in Baltimore had a cameraman at Friday's Warriors win after Havre de Grace fans spoke with their computers to be shown on the Friday evening newscast.

The raw video footage for the FOX 45 Game of the Week can be seen here.

WBFF-TV holds a weekly vote on its website to allow fans to select their team to be filmed by the FOX TV crew and highlighted in that evening's telecast.

The Warriors-Brunswick game won in overwhelming fashion, with 86 percent of the vote thanks to strong Havre de Grace support.

WBFF wasn't the only network affiliate with a cameraman on the sidelines Friday. WBAL TV from Baltimore also had video of the game in their Friday night newscast.

The video from Channel 11 can be viewed here.

FOX 45 Sports Director Bruce Cunningham will be the play-by-play voice for this Saturday's championship, which will air live on The CW Baltimore. Former Ravens offensive lineman Wally Williams will be the color analyst for the game.

Tickets can be purchased online. Anderson Bus Company, Inc. is offering free travel for Havre de Grace fans.
