Saturday morning, police were alerted that a piece of public property had been taken for a walk by the water.

At 9:30 a.m. on Dec.1, police found that a park bench on the 100 block of Lafayette Street, near the Concord Point Lighthouse, was not in its usual place.

Police said that someone moved the bench from a concrete pad near the lighthouse to rocks by the water. No damage was reported, according to police, and the Department of Public Works returned the bench to its pad.

At 2:35 p.m. on Nov. 30, police said that a soap dispensing machine was reported damaged at Sparkles Laundry.
