Two Helicoptered for Medical Treatment after Juniata Street Crash
The collision involved an SUV and a tractor trailer, said Fire Chief Scott Hurst.
Two adults were taken by helicopter for medical treatment after their SUV was trapped under a tractor trailer in Havre de Grace Friday afternoon, according to Scott Hurst, chief of the Susquehanna Hose Company.
Hurst said the driver of the tractor trailer, which collided with the SUV on North Juniata Street at Superior Street, was uninjured.
The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. Friday.
Two crews from Susquehanna Hose Company removed doors of the SUV to get the victims out. Then firefighters transported the patients to the National Guard helicopter landing site, where the Maryland State Police Medevac met them, according to a report from the Hose Company.
No information was available about the condition of the victims or where they were treated.
