Susquehanna Hose Company Expands on Market Street
Construction has been going on at Division 3 for the past month.
Heavy machinery—other than fire engines—has been hanging out by the Susqehanna Hose Company's Division 3 for the past few weeks.
The fire house on Market Street is expanding, according to Susquehanna Hose Company Chief Scott Hurst.
"We are adding a bay for water operations," Hurst told Patch.
The Hose Company's swift water rescue team will have some new digs when all is said and done.
The area now under construction off Fountain Street will include storage, bunk rooms and an area for cleaning equipment, Hurst said.
