The Warriors softball team used a five-run fifth inning to pull ahead in a 14-3 win against neighboring Aberdeen Wednesday.
Havre de Grace improved to 9-3 overall and 7-2 in the Susquehanna Division.
Aberdeen is now 3-7 overall, and 3-6 in the Susquehanna Division.
The Warriors had 12 hits, and Hayley Kitts scattered seven hits and one walk in seven innings pitched. She struck out three.
Stephanie Pollack was 3-for-4 with three runs scored. Dana Teufer was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Riley Arnold and Tori Caine both drove in three runs and scored two more. Megan Thompson had a triple and two runs scored. Kelsey McRoberts drove in two runs.
Aberdeen jumped out to a two-run lead in the bottom of the first before the Warriors scored twice in the second and third innings, five times in the fourth, twice in the fifth and three more times in the seventh.

Seems like there is alot of info for the HDG team but very little for the aberdeen side. It would be nice to know what aberdeen did at the plate and the pitcher/s as well.

Hey Bucket, it was 14-3. Not much offense to discuss, and not much pitching to discuss from Aberdeen.
