Snow in Saturday's Forecast for Havre de Grace
Two to four inches of snow may fall in Harford County on Dec. 29.
Havre de Grace will get another round of snow before the new year begins, according to the National Weather Service.
Snow will start falling between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. Saturday in Harford County and continue through late Saturday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
Approximately 2 to 4 inches will accumulate, the report said.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for the Baltimore-Washington area—including Harford, northern Baltimore, Carroll and Frederick—from 3 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. A winter weather advisory means that snow-covered roads and limited visibilities may make travel difficult.
Preparing on Friday, the State Highway Administration said its crews were out treating the roads in Harford County with salt brine, an anti-icing agent.
Travel conditions Saturday will be "hazardous," the National Weather Service reported.
In the city of Havre de Grace, citizens are reminded not to shovel snow into roads once they have been plowed and that property owners are required to clear sidewalks fronting public property within 24 hours of the snowfall.
