While you are at it, can you correct the copy to reflect the correct dates? Officer Armmetta died last Saturday, Sept 8th.

i also send my condolences to the families involved as well as the entire law enforcement family. My brother was a police officer and when he died the law enforcement family came out in full force to support us. i do hope that the next set of services do not require cancellation of visiting privledges at the HCDC as they did this week. As a nurse i am keenly aware of the desire to allow all staff to attend the services of a fallen co-worker or even a beloved patient. But, that isn't allowed to happen in the healthcare world. We must staff appropriately to keep things running smoothly. We can't all attend the funeral, as much as we want to. I would be hopeful the Sheriff's office will realize this shouldn't be allowed to happen again. As the mother of someone awaiting trial at the HCDC, I would appreciate seeing my son for the only 30 minutes of the week allowed to me. Those precious minutes were not allowed to me last week nor this week. I pray they won't be taken away again.

Are you kidding me? Your son being in the HCDC and missing his visitation for 30 nminutes each week does not even come close to the time that EVERYONE will no longer have with someone who has passed away. I can not imagine equating the two.

Colleen
Maybe your son should have thought about those 30 min. a week before he did what ever he did to end up in the HCDC. He is one of the reasons these deputies put their lives on the line everyday. Deal with it.
