Pretty sure it was a car owned by a resident of the trailer park behind her shop...
I don't want to give out too many details, I'm sure you understand.

The accident happened before 1 p.m. I was on my way back to work. It looked like a small older model white car was involved. The motorcyclist was already on a stretcher when I went past. Yesterday there was a very bad accident involving cars very close to where this accident was same time of day. Perhaps a patrolman should monitor this area during the day since it appears to be a trouble spot.

In this case the car came out of the trailer park/my wife's parking lot. I think some of the issues are where people make u-turns and come out of Bulle Rock, I know when we leave her shop, we make that U-turn and people fly down 40 there.
My wife is still shook up after seeing this guy and the shape he was in :(

A traffic light needs to be installed.

Not necessary to put a light at intersection but, maybe perhaps a new traffic patter laid out directing cars in better position. ( short light like the one just past 543 or right turn only coming out of Bulle Rock). There is a blind spot leaving the area of the accident, theres a small bridge wall making exiting/entering the lot troublesome at times. No comments made will change the fact of bad judgement when it comes to motorists overlooking motorcycles on the road.

Take Responsibility people at Bulle Rock do not make U-Turns where this accident occurred. We go straight out and go either right or to the medium to make a left. This accident was further South of that intersection. I believe the person driving is at fault for not being alert. Motorcyclist and bicyclist are harder to spot and people driving need to be paying attention behind the wheel. My morning started badly when I left the 22 ramp towards APG. A bicyclist was riding against traffic when I proceeded into the third right lane had I NOT been paying attention he could have easily been hit.

Terry, yes I know where it happened, my wife was an eyewitness, reread my comment. OTHER people make u-turns all the time where the Bulle Rock entrance meets 40, including myself, and my wife, and her customers. And it is a dangerous area. Don't think I was saying anything bad about Bulle Rock residents LOL. It's just what you have to do if you want to go west on 40. I agree drivers need to be more vigilant. I gave up riding motorcycles years ago, because the general commuter has their minds on everything but driving.
