Crews Put Out Fire in Aberdeen Hills Home

The fire was reported at approximately 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

Three fire companies responded to a reported house fire on the 400 block of Roberts Way Sunday morning, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

At approximately 7:32 a.m., crews from Aberdeen Fire Department, Level Volunteer Fire Company and Aberdeen Proving Ground arrived at the home in Aberdeen Hills to find smoke inside, Gardiner said.

The fire was in a crawl space under the chimney, which crews opened so they could put out the blaze, according to Gardiner.

No injuries were reported in the incident, Gardiner said.
