You don’t have to wait for a sale to get a great price at Pink Hanger Consignment Boutique.

The store on Franklin Street offers a variety of great finds, from 7 for All Mankind jeans to Carlos Santana multicolor pumps. A pair of fur boots recently sold for $26.

Inventory is constantly changing, with jewelry and shoes going the fastest, according to Tracey Hicks, who opened the boutique Sept. 12 with her brother.

She offers a 50-50 split for items on consignment; however, not everything that comes in the door makes it onto one of the Pink Hanger racks.

“People bring stuff in daily, but I tend to be very selective on what items I keep,” said Hicks. “When people come in, I want them to know they are buying good quality pieces."
 
Hicks, who resides in Phoenixville, stumbled upon the store on Franklin Street when helping a friend set up D'Bohemia in the spring.

Havre de Grace was "so cute," Hicks said, "and I hear this is supposed to be an up-and-coming area."

In keeping with the theme of cute and current, Hicks updates the Pink Hanger Facebook page with new arrivals, featuring shoes, dresses, and jewelry that are currently available.
 
“Come fast though,” Hick’s suggested. “The items that I advertise on Facebook tend to go by the next day."
