Hurricane Sandy rained on our parade and a rescheduled date brought a chill to the air, but nothing dampened the enthusiasm or creativity of the participants. We were happy to have the cooperation of the City, the County, the Havre de Grace Police Department, Tourism, the Chamber of Commerce, Parks & Recreation, the Havre de Grace Recreation Committee, the Havre de Grace Drama Guild, Sara, Joe and Lauren Kochenderfer, Jim and Elizabeth Nemeth, Shannon Hitchings, DJ Mark Hemler, Mayor Wayne Dougherty, Bonnie and Skeeter Grimes, Austin Barnes, Brittany Rosenkrans, Peter Green, Brigitte Peters, Terri Glenn, Rodney Swam, Cathy Vincenti, Jeff Kearney, Jim Simpers, Chad McGraw, Cathy Boyd and Elizabeth Janney for their help and support with a special shout-out to DPW. These events don't happen without a supporting team and I am blessed to have a great one in Havre de Grace.
Don't forget! Our next "wallet-friendly" event is Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 1-4 p.m. at the Havre de Grace Activity Center for our annual Open House, "Christmas With the Kringles", music, dance, holiday themed films, crafts and refreshments. We hope to see you here. 410-939-6724 for information.
