Sean, these photos really capture the essence of graduation at HdGHS! It's wonderful to see Don Osman participating in commencement.....love it! Was that Don, former director of the music department conducting the pit?

No he hasn't this is his first year teaching high school orchestra, and conducting it at Havre de Grace

My oldest daughter was a student who studied with the Havre de Grace High School Orchestra and Marching Band. Don McClure taught her in that department during her freshman and sophomore years. In the fall of 1993 Rick Hauf came to Havre de Grace and Don transferred to Bel Air High School where he has been teaching and leading their music department since that time.
I didn't know he had been in charge of the pit orchestra for a few years at Havre de Grace. It was good to see him in this year's photos.
