Guess what? My favorite Christmas carol is “Do You Hear What I Hear." Know why? Just look at my ears! I’m Willow and when I close my eyes, I can hear the sounds of the holidays—laughter, good cheer, a crackling fireplace, and more. But when I open my eyes, I’m still here at the shelter. I’m a nice girl who likes to play and run, but I also like to take long walks and cuddle up at night. Do you hear what I hear? How about the sound of my kennel door closing behind me and your car door opening to take me home forever!

As adorable as the dog is....its a pitt.
Too many incidents with pitts to ever get one myself.

You're more likely to be attacked by a dalmatian or a chow. It's ignorance like this that perpetuate the myth that pit bulls are violent animals. For every "incident" you refer to there are thousands of dogs you never hear about. Pit bulls are great family dogs and have been used historically as nanny dogs.

According to multiple webistes/articles and researches the "top aggressive breed" are pitt bull terriers, akinas, chow, chows, ect. It is not "myth" get your head out of the black hole. No , not every aggressive breed, is aggressive, but many are. I have two litle kids and would never feel confotable leaving a pitt bull in their presence. A Dalmation is not even on the list for the "top 20 aggressive breeds" accoring to the SPCA. Any dog can be aggressive. However, I like the minimize my chances.
You seem to take what I said really personal. It is MY personal desicion and did not state that they should be banned or killed. What I said is I hope they are re-home (hopefully by someone that is confortable with pitts)
My decision. You are getting worked up over an opinion that I would not want one as a pet.
Get over yourself.

I agree, I did a Herp-a-derp dance with shaking fist and feet stomping in the local kennel, everyone smiled and the pets loved it. I always love giving back to the community.

Hey Cornelius: talk about taking a persons comment out of context. Stomp your feet at people?? Shake your arm in the air?? Man, what are you on?? Haley sounds like someone who is very fond of animals, but simply not comfortable with a breed of dog that has a not so "safe" reputation. I believe that is her God-given right. Nothing nasty was said. Whether that is the dog's fault or an owners, it matters not. But you found it necessary to be mean spirited, and quite frankly sir, you come across as the complete dumbass, not to mention JERK! Herp Derp? WTF is that? You must be a pit bull owner, and got all defensive about Haley not being comfortable with a 2 year old pitt bull mix of unknown disposition with God knows who the previous owner might have been. Put whatever you are drinking or whatever away cuz it appears it makes you a nasty person. Have Merry Christmas. And please tell Haley you are sorry.

I know a LOT of people would love to give those animals a loving home, if the adoption costs were not so high. Some people just cannot afford a lump sum like that. $50 for a rabbit. Even with shots, etc. I think it would be correct to lower the prices to make sure they find the right home with loving people. Just my opinion.

Thing is, the money goes right back in the the shelter. Also, I believe the thinking is that if you can't afford the adoption fees, than you may not be able to afford a steady source of food and vet bills for said animal.
