UPDATED: Pedestrian Killed In Accident On Interstate 95

A pedestrian was struck on I-95 near Aberdeen Thursday night.

A pedestrian was killed in an accident on northbound Interstate 95 near Aberdeen Thursday night.

The incident happened just before 9 p.m. Thursday near mile marker 86—approximately one mile north of the MD Route 22 exit, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association.

All three lanes of northbound Interstate 95 were closed as of 9:15 p.m., he said.

Motorists encountering heavy traffic may access U.S. Route 40 via the Riverside exit on northbound I-95.

Gardiner said the Aberdeen Fire Department responded to the accident. He couldn't confirm any details regarding the victim.
