Well it's difficult to choose but for me I have to say my favorite's are Graw Days Festival, The Arts Festival, Pirate Fest cause I know the volunteer hours that go into these festivals and the sacrifices that so many folks in our community make to have these be successful and raise money for such worthy causes, and although I don't consider the Independence Day activities to be a Festival, I do know that so so many folks give so much time and energy to make this happen for our town it is truly a community effort and how could you not love it! It's all great!!!

I agree that this is a tough one to choose! The festivals & events around town are part of the reason I love HDG so much. I voted for the 4th of July Celebration, because I have been coming to it ever since I was a little girl (a very very very long time); and I brag about it to all my friends & family outside of Maryland. It's like one of those perfect celebrations you only see in the movies about perfect little towns. But, I have to confess, the Arts & Seafood festivals run a close second!!

I love all the festivals. They all prove what a warm, friendly fun community this is. I can'T pick just one.
