All that was missing was the Santa Maria.

Well, Christopher Columus, too.

The Nina and the Pinta—or replica versions of the smaller ships in Columbus' fleet—made an unscheduled stop in Havre de Grace Wednesday afternoon at Tidewater Marina.

The ships are en route to Lewes, DE, said Brigitte Peters, Havre de Grace manager of marketing tourism.

These two replica ships visit Havre de Grace whenever they're headed up or down the Bay. It's always fun to see them docked here. Imagine making an ocean voyage on them!

Becky, I was thinking the same thing looking at the pictures. It makes me realize the bravery it took to make a trans-atlantic trip in something that small.
