$3.1 million and the Mayor only proposes and the City Council only approves a $.01 tax reduction. Tax payers need to pay attention come next MAy.

What about the 700 K net deficit in the water and sewer fund? Where's that deficit going to be funded? I thought the water and sewer functions were stand-alone self, funded entities. If the property tax is reduced, it seems that water and sewer is bound to go up. I have been questioning the City's cost of healthcare for some time...I wonder how it went down so much in one year?

You are right on the money there Jim. People need to start thinking about voting out ALL incumbents (mayor and city council) come May. The ones in office only care about their own agenda. All one has to do is listen to them.......
