Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident Sunday

Hauson Tiaree Woodard, of Aberdeen, was ejected from his motorcycle after colliding with an SUV.

An 26-year-old Aberdeen man died Sunday evening after a two-vehicle accident that closed Pulaski Highway.

Hauson Tiaree Woodard, 26, of the 100 block of Great Oaks Drive in Aberdeen, was flown by helicopter Sunday to Maryland Shock Trauma, where he died.

Woodard was traveling east on Route 40 on his 2004 Suzuki motorcycle when the driver of a 2010 Nissan SUV traveling west tried to make a left turn into a parking lot, police said. The vehicles collided, ejecting Woodard from the motorcycle and onto the roadway, according to Maryland State Police.

According to police, the Nissan was operated by Erika Christian Boin of the 8000 block of Bradshawn Road in Baltimore County. Boin and three passengers in the Nissan were taken to Harford Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

According to a preliminary investigation by state police, speed has been ruled out as a factor in the accident.
