City Council: Land Acquisition and More
Havre de Grace City Council meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
Havre de Grace City Council will award two young residents with student of the month awards before hearing a pair of presentations.
Council will also go into a closed session to discuss land acquisition toward the end of the meeting. Council President Bill Martin could only say that the acquisition would potentially involve the city purchasing private land from a resident.
The regular Havre de Grace City Council meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall.
The Havre de Grace American Legion Post will make a presentation, as will Garrett Lyttle of the Water and Sewer Commission.
Meadowvale Elementary School's Nicole McFarland and Havre de Grace High School's Monique Watson will be recognized by Mayor Wayne Dougherty and City Council.
Chaplain Nick McDonald of Upper Chesapeake Hospital will deliver the opening prayer.
