There's the history, the restaurants, the quaint downtown and the museums.

But the best draw for visitors of Havre de Grace is the waterfront.

So on Earth Day, enter the Lower Susquehanna Heritage Greenway—and its annual River Sweep event.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m., volunteers will take to the shore of the Susquehanna, and the northern Chesapeake Bay, in Havre de Grace to clean debris and garbage from the scenic waterfront.

Participants must register and fill out a waiver form, which can be found here.
