Ice Sends Vehicle into Telephone Pole: HdG Sheriff Blotter

The Harford County Sheriff's Office provided the following information. Incidents are beyond the Havre de Grace city limits.

 

Green Spring Road, 3600 block. 9 a.m on Jan. 28. A Havre de Grace woman suffered minor injuries after her 2004 Jeep Cherokee hit a telephone pole. She was behind the wheel in her driveway when her vehicle slid on the ice, went off road, over a short incline and into the telephone pole. Level Volunteer Fire Company treated her at the scene for minor injuries.

Locust Street, Unit block. 12:53 p.m. on Jan. 27. An assault was reported. No further information was available.

Chestnut Street. 7:15 a.m. on Jan. 26. Theft from a motor vehicle was reported.

Chestnut Street. 7:07 a.m. on Jan. 26. A home invasion was reported in which the suspect caused a laceration to the victim using a weapon. This may be connected to the incident above. However, no further information was available.

Pulaski Highway, 2000 block. 5:13 p.m. on Jan. 25. A woman was involved in a single-vehicle crash. There were no injuries.

Chapel Road, 2000 block. 4:47 a.m. on Jan. 25. After a vehicle rolled over in front of Chapel Road Park, the driver went to someone's door for help and was taken by ambulance to Bayview Medical Center.
