HdG Crime: Wallet Pinched from Shopping Cart
The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information.
Tidewater Drive, 200 block. 12:03 p.m. on Feb. 20. A wallet and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle at a residence. The theft reportedly occurred on Feb. 18 at night.
Pulaski Highway, 900 block. 1:17 a.m. on Feb. 20. Police received a report that three men were shoplifting. One was said to have a case of diapers. All suspects were gone when police arrived.
Pulaski Highway, 900 block. 5:50 p.m. on Feb. 19. A woman reported her purse stolen after she mistakenly left it in a shopping cart at Weis Market. The woman said that her purse was in the bottom of her shopping cart while she put groceries into her car. As she drove away from the store, she realized that she was without her purse; within minutes, she returned to the scene. However, by that time, the purse was gone.

I still believe there is honest people in this world, specifically in HDG. Let's hope that the person that took the basket for shopping, will turn in the purse!

Well I agree. There are honest people in this world but they do not work at WEIS IN HAVRE DE GRACE. This is wallet/purse number 3 that I know of in the past couple years that has been stolen from a car or shopping cart at this same store. It is time for cameras all around that building to get rid of the thief that works there!!!!
