WINTER WIPE-OUT PARTY
Where: MacGregor's (331 Saint John St.)
When: 8 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Feb. 22
Why Go: There will be entertainment from Paul McGuire and the Rowdy Boys at this benefit sponsored by Biller's Bikes for the Fallston Animal Rescue Movement.
Cost: Free to attend; pet care donations welcome.
WRESTLING TOURNAMENT
Where: Havre de Grace High School (700 Congress Ave.)
When: 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22; and 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23
Why Go: The best of the best will duke it out at the East region's 1A/2A tournament.
Cost: $5
BLACK HISTORY CELEBRATION
Where: St. John's Episcopal Church (114 N. Union Ave.)
When: 3–5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23
Why Go: Griots Wa Umoja, a dance and drumming group dedicated to African culture, will perform. There will also be lectures.

WEE CYCLE MART
Where: Perryville Outlet Center (85 Heather Ln.) in Perryville
When: 9 a.m.–7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22; 9 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23; and 10 a.m.–2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24
Why Go: Score kids' clothes on the cheap and drop off your donations or consignments.
Cost: $2 or $1 plus donation for food bank; kids are free
HAVRE DE GRACE BRIDAL WALK
Where: Spencer-Silver Mansion, La Banque de Fleuve and MacGregor's
When: 11 a.m.–4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24
Why Go: The first annual event includes several vendors who are having open houses to discuss what they have to offer couples planning weddings.

CHILI COOKOFF

When: 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24
Why Go: Sample the various recipes that were submitted for the contest.

Outside HdG but worth the trip
BULL AND OYSTER ROAST
Where: 3825 Federal Hill Rd. in Jarrettsville
When: 6–10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23
Why Go: There will be plenty of Ravens memorabilia in the silent auction portion of the evening, which benefits CASA (court-appointed special advocates) of Harford County.
