Route 40 Driver Takes 'Drive-Through' Literally: HdG Crime
The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information.
Franklin Street, 600 block. 12:45 p.m. on March 4. A 96-gallon trash can was reportedly stolen over the weekend.
Pulaski Highway, 1000 block. 6:46 a.m. on March 4. A U-Haul hit a drive-through structure, which subsequently fell down.
Pulaski Highway, 1000 block. 2:15 p.m. on March 3. Shoplifting was reported at a convenience store. Police identified and charged a 46-year-old Belcamp woman after discovering nine packages of 5-Hour Energy drink in her possession, valued at $130.
Fountain Street, 500 block. 11:51 a.m. on March 3. The driver’s side door was keyed on a vehicle. Estimated damage was more than $100.
Pulaski Highway, 800 block. 8:08 a.m. on March 3. A 34-year-old Havre de Grace man from the 700 block of Pulaski Highway was arrested for failing to appear for court in Cecil County.
Otsego Street, 700 block. 12:41 a.m. on March 3. A person could hear someone yelling “Help me!” and notified police. When officers arrived, they did not find anybody in the area.
South Union Avenue, 500 block. 6:28 p.m. on March 2. Officers were called to Harford Memorial Hospital for an assault that had already occurred. The victim told police that she and her roommate got into an argument about Internet usage when the roommate began hitting the victim on the head. She was able to leave and went to the hospital for treatment. Information regarding the severity of injuries was not available. Police said the matter was referred to the county commissioner.
Revolution Street, 1100 block. 4:39 p.m. on March 2. A 28-year-old man from South Stokes Street was charged with possession of marijuana.
Pennington Avenue, 500 block. 5:29 a.m. on March 2. A robbery was reported in which a man stole $130.
Lewis Lane at Pulaski Highway. 11:34 p.m. on March 1. A 24-year-old man from the 400 block of Battery Drive was charged with operating a vehicle on a suspended license.
Otsego Street, 800 block. 10:41 p.m. on March 1. A 29-year-old Elkton man was charged with operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license.
Webb Lane, 400 block. 7:43 p.m. on Feb. 28. A laptop was reported stolen. Estimated loss was $300.
Lewis Lane, 300 block. 6:43 p.m. on Feb. 28. An iPod Touch was reported stolen. The owner reported leaving it on a table and returning 15 minutes later to find it was gone. Estimated value was $200.
Adams Street, 500 block. 1:04 p.m. on Feb. 28. One bottle of pain medication was reported stolen.
Revolution Street, 700 block. 10:43 a.m. on Feb. 28. A 26-year-old woman was charged with disorderly conduct after police responded to a loud disturbance and found her yelling profanity at family members. Police attempted to calm her but could not so she was taken into custody.
